Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent revealed that President Donald TRUMP is considering a $2,000 stimulus check for families earning $100,000 or less annually. The proposal, reminiscent of COVID-era relief payments, could provide financial support to over 123 million Americans.

Bessent emphasized no final decision has been made, despite Trump's Truth Social post promising a "dividend of at least $2000 a person" to "everyone." The plan faces scrutiny due to the U.S. national debt nearing $38 trillion, with economists warning about the risks of unoffset stimulus spending.
